The past few years have been a whirlwind in Peg’s life. Her graduation from a local technical college was followed by starting her first big job, renting her first apartment and helping her parents pack for a move to Tennessee.
All this change got Peg thinking about roots. She’s been involved at St. Bartholomew's from little on, accompanying her parents to services, Sunday School, potlucks and picnics…even the occasional vestry meeting with Dad.
For a while, she was less active. Then an old friend from Youth Group suggested they take one of St. Bartholomew's Alpha classes together. As a result, she re-discovered an anchor that helped in dealing with all the changes adult life can bring.
Once in a while, one of the older ladies in the church still calls her “Little Peggy,” and remarks on how she’s grown. Peg smiles, and marvels to herself at how very true that observation is.
